I’ve found the theme music for Perfect Coffee Shots! Mark Knopler and Dire Straits’ Expresso Love … while I don’t think it is exactly about coffee, it’s the perfect group and song.
I’ve been fortunate enough to see Knopler live a few times, and he is one of the best.

I took this yesterday morning with the Motorola Droid and posted it to my Facebook Coffee Shots album. To my surprise, people just didn’t get it … c’mon!
I was at my usual Saturday morning coffee stop at Lux Coffee, Phoenix, Arizona. They have some new coffee cups. Hadn’t seen this one before. The grip is neat as it has a velvet type of material feel to it.
The morning was perfect as Phoenix temps are definitely fall like (50s and 60s) … at least fall like for the desert valley.
If not COW, what would you name this coffee shot?
Beth, again, with a reported no donut, shot this McCafe Coffee from McDonalds this morning on I-85 near Salisbury, North Carolina. She has been traveling along the Southeast coast this week and has sent these recent coffee shots. I like the shadow effect of the rising sun, the reflection of the coffee cup in the windshield, and the steam rising from the top. Nice shot, Beth!
This was a perfect fall morning as she was returning to Florida for the coming week.

I have actually heard that McDonald’s coffee has been a hit with the drive through crowds. Anyone care to share your opinion on the McCafe coffee?
Beth sends this shot in this morning from High Point, North Carolina. This was taken in her aunt’s backyard. She claims to have resisted the temptation to order one of those awesome hot glazed Krispy Kreme donuts … I’m not buyin’ it. This is the same Beth who sent the coffee shot in from Boston that had a significant bite taken out of a Dunkin Donuts donut : ).
Although she wrote that she is on her way to a Florida vacation and must be sure the bikini she is taking fits. Ok. But what about the coffee?
